Coffee tones + quiet warmth on a cold evening.
Monday night I was fortunate enough to tag along with Andrew and his friend Josie while they went to shoot. Josie wanted to learn more about using manual settings to compose her photos, and Andrew and I wanted to help her learn as well as take some photos for ourselves.
We made a pit stop for food first, then drove until we found an empty church with some beautiful stained glass light (see my photos here). We left once we heard someone else walk inside, but we weren’t ready to go home yet––for a while, we shot outside in the snow, right across the street from The Attic, and when we got cold we ordered coffees inside.
While we sat together, talking and enjoying the quiet when the conversation lulled, we flipped through the photos we had taken, then snapped a few more. Here are a few of the last photos I took.

All photos were taken at The Attic Coffee & Books (Green Bay, WI) on a Canon 80D camera (not mine) with a Canon 85mm lens (mine). Special thanks to co-creator Andrew Schaut (andrewjschaut.blog) and to Josie for modeling and letting me play with her camera.
